Azincourt Uranium Continues Funding for Fission 3.0 PLN Project

Azincourt Uranium Inc. (TSXV:AAZ) has agreed to continue funding exploration work into the second year of its earn-in option at its PLN project. The project is operated by Azincourt's joint venture partner, Fission 3.0 Corp (TSXV:FUU), and exploration work will start ahead of the mid June anniversary date, with diamond drill holes planned for summer/fall testing.

Energy Fuels Inc. to Continue Uranium Production at Pinenut Mine

Energy Fuels Inc. (NYSEMKT:UUUU,TSX:EFR) has revised its previous guidance and now expects to continue mining at its wholly owned Pinenut Mine through 2014 and into the Q1 of 2015. Energy Fuels previously stated that it expected to place production at the Pinenut Mine on standby by mid-2014, with all ore produced from the mine through mid-2014 being milled at its White Mesa Mill this year.

Uranium Energy Corp. (NYSEMKT:UEC) announced results of a Preliminary Economic Assessment for the Slick Rock Project in Colorado showing a pre-tax Internal Rate of Return of 33% and a post-tax IRR of 29%, a pre-tax Net Present Value, at a discount rate of 10%, of $43.8 million and a post-tax NPV of $31.9 million based on a uranium spot price of $60 per pound and a vanadium spot price of $10 per pound.

Uranium Energy Corp Reaches Production Permitting Stage for Burke Hollow Project

Uranium Energy Corp (NYSEMKT:UEC) has filed a mine permit application and aquifer exemption application for its Burke Hollow ISR Project in Bee County Texas. It filed the applications on April 11 of this year with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. To date, Uranium Energy has explored 40 percent of the Burke Hollow Property.

Carpenter Lake Lights Up with Strongly Anomalous Radon, Alpha Exploration Survey Results Say

Alpha Exploration Inc. (TSXV:AEX) announced that it has completed a radon in lake water and sediment survey at Carpenter Lake, Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan. The survey comprises part of Alpha’s option agreement to earn a 60 percent interest in the Carpenter Lake Property from Noka Resources Inc. (TSXV:NX), and was conducted by RadonEx Exploration Management of St. Lazare, Quebec. It used 895 sample locations over a 16 km strike length of the Cable Bay Shear Zone of the property.
