TSX Approves Powertech Uranium and Azarga Resources Merger

The TSX has given conditional approval to the merger between Powertech Uranium (TSX:PWE) and Azarga Resources. The new company will be called Azarga Uranium Corporation. The TSX also conditionally approved the company's $5 million private placement, with the company issuing up to 84 million units at a price of $0.06 per unit.

Alpha Completes Final Tranche of Private Placement

Alpha Exploration (TSXV:AEX) announced that it has completed the final tranche of a non-brokered private placement, issuing 1.69 million flow-through units. In total, the company has issued 4,652,777 common shares and 2,326,387 to raise proceeds of $837,500. The proceeds are intended to fund exploration expenditures on properties in the Athabasca Basin.

Alpha Exploration Reacts to BC Supreme Court Ruling

Alpha Exploration (TSXV:AEX) announced that it is disappointed with the BC Supreme Court's decision on Alpha's application for an injunction restraining NexGen from employing Garrett Ainsworth for a six month period commencing June 2, 2014. The judge ruled that the matter wasn't suitable for disposition through a summary trial. As a result, the injunction was dismissed and the cost of the injunction was awarded to Nexgen.
