NexGen Energy’s Angled Drill Hole Hits 40.45 m Off-scale Radioactivity at Arrow Zone

NexGen Energy Ltd. (TSXV:NXE) announced results from its ongoing winter 2015 drill program at the Rook I property, Athabasca Basin of Saskatchewan. Drill hole AR-15-44b hit 190.70 m total composite mineralization including 40.45 m off-scale radioactivity within a 519.0 m section, which substantially expanded the high grade core of the A2 shear. Forty three out of forty five drill holes completed at the Arrow Zone of Rook I to date have intersected uranium mineralization, and according to VP for Exploration Garrett Ainsworth, "Arrow now has significant off-scale mineralization at both the southwest and northeast extents, which we will aggressively follow up on in our summer drill program. Other mineralized intersections from AR-15-42a and -43a continue to confirm continuity, and increase the extents within the high grade cores of the A2 and A3 shears."

CanAlaska Discovers Uranium Mineralization at Maguire Lake

CanAlaska Uranium (TSXV:CVV) has discovered uranium mineralization at the North West Manitoba project at Maguire Lake via a down hole gamma ray log that revealed highly anomalous responses attributable to uranium mineralization. The mineralization is between 164 and 238 metres, as well as between 285 and 347 metres. CanAlaska is continuing drilling on at least 4 additional lake targets and 7 additional land targets.

GoviEx Increases Mineral Resource of Madaouela Project by 13 Percent

GoviEx Uranium Inc. (TSXV:GXU) announced that it has updated the NI 43-101 mineral resource for the Marianne and Marilyn (M&M) deposits, which are part of the Madaouela project in Niger. The updated calculation increased the total mineral resource by approximately 13 percent to now contain a measured and indicated mineral resources of 110.76 million pounds U3O8 and additional Inferred Resources of 27.66 million pounds U3O8, using a 0.4 kg/t eU cut-off.

Forum Uranium Corp. (TSXV:FDC) encountered an alteration within sandstones overlying a major structural lineament during its 2,453 metre drill program on the Fir Island project in the Athabasca Basin. Five targets were tested with the last five holes focused on the East Channel Zone where the said alteration was found.

Australia's Paydirt recently featured Peninsula Energy (ASX:PEN) and its Lance project in Wyoming, USA. The article highlighted the company's $69.4 million fully underwritten institutional funding, its first sales contract in 2011, management, and pending pre-feasibility study. According to the article, "With $60 million equity secured to build stage one, Peninsula has debt facilities it can drawdown to fund stage two capex at Lance of $US35 million, while $US25 million in debt and $US53 million working capital would be required for stage three."
