Apache Corporation Announces North American Update

Apache Corporation (NYSE:APA) provided an update for investors on Thursday, forecasting that North American onshore liquids would experience a growth of 12 to 16 percent, with production growing eight to 12 percent. The company also announced that it had agreed to sell non-core southern Louisiana and certain Anadarko Basin oil and gas assets for roughly $1.4 billion.

Ur-Energy Completes Final 2014 Sales Contract

Ur-Energy (TSX:URE,NYSE MKT:URG) announced that it has fulfilled all of its 2014 term sales contracts with final product delivered in mid-November. In total, Ur-Energy has sold 517,760 pounds of U3O8 for a revenue of $26.5 million. The company also said it has no plans to issue additional securities or obtain additional funding.

SQM Sees Lithium Demand Growing 10 Percent in 2014

Sociedad Quimica y Minera de Chile (ADR) (SQM) (NYSE:SQM) released its financial results for the three months and nine months ended September 30 2014. The company reported increased revenues from its lithium operations - up by 4.1 percent and 10.2 percent year-on-year for the first nine months and 3 months of the year respectively. However, the company also commented on what it sees as continued strong demand for lithium.

Uranium Energy Corp Reports 77 Percent Increase in Uranium Resource at Burke Hollow Project

Uranium Energy Corp. (NYSE MKT:UEC) says it has completed an updated NI 43-101 resource for the Burke Hollow project which has raised the inferred resource by 77 percent to 7.35 million pounds of U3O8. The company is also advancing production permitting for its project and has submitted a radioactive mineral license and mine permit application to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
